Back in the US I have gone to SPAs before, but I have never been to a geothermal-heated hot spring until I got to Taiwan. Taiwan is filled with these natural Mineral springs and they are not that far from Taipei. After a 3- minute ride from the Green MRT line you can take a cab and go to the hot springs in Wulai.

This one hot spring SPA we found had private rooms overlooking the river. There was a notice in the room that people will walk along paths ont the far side of the river, but that didn’t worry me.

    Hey James,

    Great blog…so how did you get to Taiwan? I’m curious to find out what made you decide to live and work there. hehe. I always love stories of people in foreign places… So what do you do at work?
